Eirini Tornesaki (aka Erini), from Crete, Greece is a vocalist of jazz and Greek traditional music, who blurs the lines between genres and explores intercultural dialogue through music. Erini is an alumni of the Master’s Program of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, she toured with Cirque Du Soleil for 3 years and participated in their Emmy Award winning VR short film “Kurios inside the Box”. She has collaborated with Bary Manilow, Luciana Souza, Christos Zotos, Mario Frangoulis and has appeared at Carnegie Hall, NY, amongst other prestigious venues around the world.
Demetris Hantzis is a singer from Trikala, Greece, serving an impressive range of traditional music from all over Greece for more than 12 years. In early 2000, he graduated from the acclaimed Department of Folk and Traditional Music (Arta, Greece) and has since participated in numerous concerts with traditional dance and music ensembles all over Greece and abroad, including the up-and-coming group Provadouroi.
Vasilis Kostas is a laouto player and composer from Epirus, Greece who has been featured on renowned stages such as Carnegie Hall, Montreal Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival and WOMEX in Poland. His groundbreaking performances on the laouto has opened new horizons for the instrument in both the Greek traditional and jazz worlds. This is featured in his latest collaboration with the living legend of Greek music and master of the clarinet, Petroloukas Halkias and the upcoming 'Global Messengers' project with Grammy-Award-winning pianist and UNESCO Artist for Peace, Danilo Perez.
